Terms and Conditions

Booking & Payment
To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required within 24 hours of confirming your reservation.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the tour start date.

If the balance is not received in time, Richis Afrika reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Cancellation Policy
All deposits are non-refundable.

However, your booking may be:

Transferred to another person, or
Moved to another available departure date, subject to availability.

If you postpone your trip within 30 days of departure, an administrative fee may apply.

If you postpone your trip to the following year, any price difference for the new year’s tour will need to be paid.

Travel Insurance
All guests must have comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering:

Medical expenses
Emergency evacuation
Trip cancellation
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Proof of insurance may be requested before the tour begins.

Itinerary Changes
While every effort will be made to follow the planned itinerary, Richis Afrika reserves the right to change routes, accommodations, or activities due to weather conditions, park regulations, road conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Such changes are sometimes necessary when traveling in remote wilderness areas.

Participation & Risk
Safari travel and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including encounters with wildlife and travel in remote areas.

By joining a tour, guests acknowledge these risks and agree to participate at their own responsibility. Richis Afrika cannot be held liable for injuries, loss, damage, delays, or circumstances beyond our control.

No-Show & Early Departure
No refunds will be given for late arrivals, no-shows, or early departure from the tour for any reason.

Guests who choose to leave the tour early or miss part of the itinerary will not be entitled to a refund for the unused portion of the trip.

Force Majeure
Richis Afrika cannot be held responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control. These may include but are not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government actions, border closures, pandemics, strikes, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen events.

In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to adjust the itinerary or reschedule the tour, but refunds may not be possible.
